The village Internet site was founded in January 2000 by Alan & Heather Huddleston, Tony Bane, and Fiona Ellis (representing the Tail Corn magazine).  A blue colour scheme was adopted since this is the colour associated with the Eversdens .... coming from the days when each village had its own coloured Corn trailers.

By 2005

In May 2005 David Farnell with some trepidation accepted the invitation to redesign the site. He has retained almost all the original material and links and introduced new material as appropriate.

His intention was to arrange the enormous amount of excellent material into logical order and make it clearly accessible. He also set out to give the site the character of a glossy magazine. It was to  have a topical flavour and yet be a fascinating archive of recent village life. Additionally, it should be a useful local reference and an easy portal to the world-wide web.

In the month of December 2006 the site received over 1000 visitors. (See "10,000 visitors!")
