Hello Simba!
It was great to hear from you. We were in
New Zealand when we read your letter. We are in Guatemala now getting our
breath back.
We miss you SO much!! Its been a while since we last had you out for
a walk around the Eversdens, but from the pictures on the web we can see
you are being well looked after. We had no doubts that the Beynons
would take great care of you (and overfeed you of course...)
We have been to many places in the last year, as you know. After
getting married on July 4th last year we have been on a long honey-year
moon. We took the trans-Siberian train in Russia, slept in nomadsī
Gers in Mongolia, walked the Great Wall of China, climbed the Everest in
Tibet, trekked in Nepal, laid on a beach in Thailand, searched for
Kangaroos in Australia, picked some fruit in New Zealand, sailed the
islands of Fiji, climbed volcanoes in Hawaii, and soon will hopefully
learn a bit of Spanish in South America. Its all been great and fun,
but we do miss the wonderful people of the Republic of Eversden. We
still think you canīt beat an afternoon stroll on a nice sunny day in the
the green countryside.
We hope you are taking good care of your English friends, they are the
nicest bunch of people we ever met. Hopefully they can finally
become world-cup winners, its been long enough, donīt you think?
We are sending you a big internet hug, and all the best to everyone back
at the Eversdens. Go England go.
