What is the Eversden Car Scheme?

Journeys are arranged through the co-ordinator and are provided by volunteers using their own cars.

Who can use the service?

What type of journey can I make?

Mainly essential journeys such as appointments at the surgery, hospital, optician, chiropodist, or dentist etc., and to local supermarkets.

How much does it cost?

Passengers make a contribution of 25p per mile towards the cost of their journey. Passengers pay their contribution to the driver on the day of travel.

Please note that there is a minimum charge of £1:00 for all Journeys.
